This level 2 course is aimed at anyone who requires a course as a Fire Warden or a Fire Marshal. The course covers the latest fire safety regulations and the roles and duties of employees and their responsibilities on Fire Safety. The course is designed to meet and comply with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 which is a strict of guidelines which exceed international guidelines in fire safety. It covers how fires are started, methods of controlling fire spread, evacuating the building, fire briefings and risk assessing.
This course comes with 3.0 hours of CPD, although the time to complete the course online may be less than this. Total course time includes 2 hours and 1 minute of video training as well as knowledge reviews, final test, remedial help and reviewing downloaded material.
The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a ProTrainings Certificate and for online courses an Evidence Based Learning statement.

3.1 Outline the duties of employers and employees with respect to fire safety in the workplace.
3.2 Outline how to undertake a simple fire safety inspection in the workplace.
3.3 Describe the stages involved in a fire risk assessment.
4 Understand the role of the nominated fire warden
4.1 State the role and function of fire wardens in their workplace:
On a day-to-day basis
During an emergency
If they are not in their designated areas of responsibility when the alarm is raised.
